December 2007 Trail Conditions Archive December 31, 2007 - Trail Update I stopped at the trail on Rhoby Road today and the trail still looks pretty good. I talked with several riders who were resting there and they all told me the trail was great. Everyone is hoping we will get some more snow.... The groomers are scheduled to run on Tuesday afternoon or evening, so please watch out for them. Have a Safe & Happy New Year! - Ron Loveland Jr.
December 30, 2007 - Trail Update Diane and I rode the trail from Rhoby Road to the Iron Bridge over the Manistee River in Manton today. The trails were beautiful and smooooooooth!!!! On the ride back home, a couple of corners were washed out, down to ice, so please be careful out there! We ran into both groomers on the trail, one going to Manton, the other going to Moorestown. We cut up a tree that had fallen across the trail today and a fellow snowmobiler from Holland Michigan stopped to help us remove the debris from the trail. Thank You! December 29, 2007 - SNOW Update Last nights storm has dumped 7" to 12" Plus of fresh snow on Northern Michigan and our Trails!!! Conditions are great and we have already had morning reports of awesome trail riding out by Moorestown. The groomers are going to run this evening, so watch out for them. Be Safe and enjoy the beautiful Snow that Mother Nature has given us! Lets Ride!
December 28, 2007 - Weather Update The snow is flying again. We have already received about 3" of fresh snow and another 3" to 10" are on the way! Above is a current picture just South of the Snowmobile Trail by Vandermeulen Road. The SNOW is building up quickly. The current talk is that we will be back to grooming by Saturday the 29th. December 23, 2007 - Trail Report Mother Nature has given us some warm weather and rain, just about depleting the snow on the trail, let alone everywhere else. Snow is brewing to the West and we should be back to riding and grooming any time now. The Missaukee Trail Blazers would like to wish everyone a Safe and Happy Holiday Season.
December 16, 2007 - Trail Report Diane and I and Bill and Melanie Morey went for a trail ride this afternoon. It was a beautiful, sunny day, perfect temperature and a wonderful ride. We were on a couple of different trail systems today and our trail was by far the BEST!!!! Here are some pictures of the days ride!

December 13, 2007 - Trail Update Several trail riders have commented at our local restaurants that the trails are the best they have ever seen. Grooming has been taking place about every other day and that is what we need to keep our riders coming in. Thank you to everyone who has helped out with our grooming program. Lets make the 07-08 snowmobile season the best ever!
December 08, 2007 - Trail Update I rode the trails today, from Manton to just East of Old-66. It was a beautiful ride with the Sun shining on Snow. The entire trail system was groomed on Friday Night by The Missaukee Trail Blazers and the trail was pretty smooth. There are a couple of corners that have been washed out by Hot Rods!! I took some pictures after the Sun went behind the Clouds. They could be a little brighter but you can see how the trails look. - Ron Loveland Jr.
