23, 2008 - Hot Rod Run
IT was a beautiful day for riding. The
Radtke family met us along with Jim & Kaye Leeuw at Bill &
Melanie's for a ride to Houghton Lake. Some riders had to cut the
trip short due to various reasons. Ron, Matt and Michelle
continued on to Houghton Lake for lunch. From there they rode to
Grayling, then to the Blue Bear Staging area, Dingmans for Dinner and
finally back to Lake City. Over 190 Miles in 11 Hours! What
a Ride!

16, 2008 - Valentine Sweet Heart Ride
We rode to Fife Lake Inn for Lunch then to Ranch
Rudolph for Hot Chocolate then to Jim & Kaye Leeuw's for Marty's
Chili and Snacks! We had a GREAT time with the Bennett Family and
our New Friends from Traverse City. Thank You Jim and Kaye for the
Evening Party. It was getting pretty cold out, and the pole barn
was a warm haven from the chilly night! - Thanks for the
Ride!
 
February
2nd, 2008 - 150 Mile Trail Ride
We
met up with several new members at the Turn Around by Moorestown.
We rode North to Dingmans for Lunch and Hot Chocolate. Dingmans
makes the BEST Hot Chocolate! We rode the trails back to Lake City
and they were smooth as glass. Thank You Groomer Operators for
keeping our trails in GREAT Shape!
1st Annual Missaukee Trail Blazers
Hot Dog Roast
at the CCC Bridge on January 19, 2008
Everyone
met at Bill & Melanie's Home around noon. We rode North to the
CCC Bridge for a Hot Dog Roast & Cookout. Afterwards we went
to Dingmans for Hot Chocolate, then back to Lake City. Jim &
Kaye Leeuw let us come into the pole barn to warm up. It was a
GREAT ride, but ohhh soooo COLD!!!
